The GSU Study Abroad Programs office is currently hiring Study Abroad Peer Advisors for the Spring 2023 semester. Study Abroad Peer Advisors are an important part of our team as they assist GSU Panthers in navigating the decision to study abroad. If you enjoy engaging with peers and helping others, this flexible work opportunity will be great for you!
Please note that previous study abroad experience is not required to excel in this position.
Position Description Highlights
- Provide general information to students about study abroad opportunities at GSU.
- Hold brief advising sessions with students to answer questions about finding study abroad programs, upcoming deadlines, the application process, etc.
- Refer students to resources such as academic advisors, study abroad advisors, program directors, financial aid, or mystudyabroad.gsu.edu.
- Provide Front Desk coverage at the GSU Study Abroad Programs office as needed
- Share personal experiences with students about your study abroad journey (if applicable)
