Study Abroad Programs

Important Dates and Deadlines:

• ​December 15th, 2022:

  • Applications open for programs running during Fall 2023 semester and Academic Year 2023-2024.

• February 1st, 2023:

  • ​Application deadline for Maymester and Summer 2023 programs.

• February 15th, 2023:

  • $300 non-refundable deposits due for faculty-led programs running Maymester and Summer.

  • Scholarship deadline for applicants participating in Maymester and Summer programs. This deadline is specifically for the IEF and IAS scholarships. For more information on study abroad scholarships, please visit https://mystudyabroad.gsu.edu/funding-your-study-abroad/.

• March 9th, 2023:

  • Gilman Scholarship deadline. The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is for Pell Grant recipients studying or interning abroad for credit. For more information and to apply, please visit https://www.gilmanscholarship.org. 

• April 15th, 2023:

  • Deadline for Free Passport Program applications. The Free Program helps GSU Panthers attain their first passport by covering the costs. For more information, please visit https://mystudyabroad.gsu.edu/free-passport-program.
